The Bohne Foundation 10th annual charity golf outing is returning on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Oak Brook Golf Club in Oak Brook, IL. Oak Brook Golf Course is a classic playing experience in a spectacular natural setting where every hole calls for solid shot-making from tee to green. Unlike boring daily-fee courses of cookie-cutter municipal courses, this is a thinking person’s course that rewards sound play for players at any skill level.

Last year special guests included Ozie Guillen (former Chicago White Sox coach) and his sons, Johnny Manziel (former football player), Matt Suey from the ’85 Chicago Bears, Jim Thornton (former Chicago Bears player), and Frank Winters – Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion of the Green Bay Packers.

Over the course of the Bohne Foundation’s existence, the foundation has donated over $290,000 in medical research, over $450,000 in local and global ministries, over $390,000 to Chicago’s underprivileged communities and anti-violence campaigns,
and over $390,000 in scholarships. In total, we have donated over a million dollars.

The day will include a round of golf, an elaborate cocktail reception, on-course enhancements, a silent auction and raffles. We will also have contests which include a dice game, putting contest, longest drive, closest to the pin, beat the pro, and a 50/50 crane ball drop.

Last year golfers came together and raised $100,000 to support the Bohne Foundation which is dedicated to comforting the destitute, encouraging the hopeless and aiding the neediest members of our global community throughout the year. Each year the Bohne Foundation commits to a nonprofit organization to honor and present a donation to at the outing.
